Jay Payne Racing is a Professional Race team based in Thomasville, NC. We are a family-owned operation that depends solely on the assistance of sponsors to run this formidable team, which has more than proven itself over the course of our 12-year existence. Run by the driver and owner Jay Payne, JPR has established a highly competitive team that creates extensive exposure for all those involved with our company.

The 2007 season was very successful for the JPR team as the team won 7 races in 13 starts including a stretch of 5 wins in a row while competing in the Limited Late Model Stock Division at Concord Motorsport Park located in Concord, NC. The team finished the season with the most wins and the best average finish while only running 13 of the 18 events.

2008 Racing Season
The 2008 season was another strong one as Jay ran for a points championship at Concord. All season long he battled against some tough competition, and came out with a very close 2nd place for the championship, 4 wins out of 11 starts, 1 pole position, and an average finish of 3.6

Plans for the 2009 Racing Season
In 2009, Jay Payne Racing plans to take it slow for the season to relax a little more and keep the costs lower.
